Slow Cooker Chicken & Stuffing


INGREDIENTS:

4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 slices Swiss cheese
2 boxes stuffing mix
4 tbsp butter, melted

DIRECTIONS:

Grease your slow cooker with some non stick spray. Pour a box of stuffing mix (and the envelope of seasoning if included) in the bottom of slow cooker. Drizzle 2 tbsp. of the melted butter over the stuffing.  Place chicken breasts on top of stuffing. Then lay the Swiss cheese slices on top of the chicken in a single layer.

In a medium sized bowl mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Pour into the slow cooker over the cheese and chicken breasts. Pour the other box of stuffing mix (and the envelope of seasoning if included) into the slow cooker on top of soup. Drizzle the top of stuffing with the rest of the butter.

Cook on LOW for 5-7 hours until chicken is cooked through.
