20 Freezer Meals and Lots of yummy chicken stock!

I received an email from a reader asking if I had ever tried making a months worth of freezer meals. I must admit the thought has crossed my mind but I was never brave enough to try....until now! Sometimes I have a bad habit of opening a package of chicken breasts, cooking all but two and then they go bad. I thought it was worth a shot trying the freezer meals to cut down on waste. It took me 6 hours on Saturday night and another 6.5 hours Sunday morning to get 20 meals. I was exhausted!! But, it has been so worth it. I come home and throw a casserole in the oven and have leftovers for the next day. Below are the links to the meals that I made. They have all been so tasty!!

I purchased the aluminum pans from my local Dollar Tree. The 9"x13" were 2 for $1. The round pie pans and the smaller square pans were 3 for $1. I got all the pans I needed for under $10.

Sausage & Peppers Meal Kit
I sliced up some smoked sausage and put it in a large plastic bag. Then I sliced up some onions and red bell pepper. I put the veggies in separate smaller ziploc bags, sealed and then put them in the large ziploc with the sausage.
